True Wand Magick
True Wand Magick:
Desire, Will, and Focus
We have noticed over the years that every Pagan seems to love the idea of a magick wand, but few people have more than a very rudimentary idea how to use them. The wand is actually Amber’s favorite ritual tool, so we jumped in. Of course, a couple of other authors had similar ideas at the same time, so now there’s a handful of books on the wand. We think ours goes deeper, with more about HOW TO USE a wand. Wands are about energy and will, and if you master those, your life is transformed.
True Wand Magick is nothing like the “magic” shown in fantasy novels and movies. True Wand Magick is the real thing. It can help you discover your passion, and focus your True Will to achieve what you desire—even manifest your destiny. True Wand Magick will guide you not only in how to create your own wand, but also how to use your wand in real magick. Learn:
- The history of this ancient ritual tool—how it was used through the ages by magicians, pharaohs, kings and queens, wizards and witches, and even gods and goddesses
- How the wand is used in cultures around the world
- Ways to discover your unique mission and destiny in life, and begin to achieve it with the help of wand magick
- Different kinds of wands for many different purposes
- How to design, create, consecrate, and care for your wand
- Beginning, intermediate, and advanced techniques for using your wand
- Practical ways to support your magick and get things done by action in the material world

A Few Reviews
A leap into the world of mystery
Amber and Azrael K have made a leap into the world of mystery while allowing the reader of True Wand Magic to glimpse the true meaning of delight. This book is humorfull, real, astounding, detailed, meaningful, and more. It takes the reader on a ride into intention, the power of self-growth. It gives how tos but also the history of wands and the amazing outcome if you make the commitment to seek your own spiritual practice. It’s comprehensive while staying personal. It may be a bit like sitting with Az and Amber in Hawk Haven watching the clouds move over the red rocks and experiencing a personal lesson in magic. I loved it and thank them for sharing with all of us.

I’ve learned more in this book…
I’m in love with this book! I’m about 3/4 of the way through and practicing the majority of the skills. I have to say that I’ve learned more in this book than at any time and any other means. Worth every penny and every single second of reading. If you want more info on wands and how to use them, I believe this would be the book for you.

Required reading for serious students of the magickal arts!
This is easily the most useful, practical, and informative book on wandcraft I have found to date. The authors somehow manage to translate their encyclopedic knowledge of wand lore, world culture, and magickal history into an entertaining, well organized and thoroughly accessible handbook of magickal practices for every level of practitioner. And while you will undoubtedly learn all about wand making, clearing, blessing, naming, and wielding, this book is about so much more than wands! Perhaps the most valuable lesson of the book for me has been about learning how to understand, work with, and control my own Will (Yes, that other “W” word…) My first piece of advice to potential readers: Buy the book!! My second piece of advice: Do the exercises!!! Both the simple ones and the more complex ones. You will not regret it. ( Unexpected side effect and weird side note….The exercises in this book helped me achieve my first actual telekinetic experiences with and without wand. See pages 173-174,189, 214) It has become an invaluable tool in my healing work and psychic self defense. I’m using my wand for everything now (oh, what must the neighbors think….) and the biggest difference is I FEEL that Im working with a tool—not just waving around a costume prop. It has added tremendous depth and, well, Magick to my magickal work. One of the greatest gifts of this book to the witching community is perhaps this: the authors bring together one of the most misused tools of witchcraft (the Will) and one of the most underused (the Wand) and teach you how to wield both of them properly and in tandem for greater results than you could have previously imagined. Elegant, practical, and with the warmth and wit these writers bring to everything they touch, this book belongs on the shelf of every serious student and practitioner of the Craft.
